We are so privileged to be here at our home in Ocean City and catching up with so many wonderful people in our lives that we love.  Thanks for the porch.  It gives us a great opportunity to say hello, give hugs and share memories with our beautiful God-daughter, Joanna Palla, and her friend Shawn.

Hi Peggy Ann,

Just wanted to send a note saying thanks again for accommodating us this summer. I hope to be back again sometime! We had a nice time and appreciate the reasonable rates :)

Our daughters loved our beach vacation too!

Dear Peggy Ann,

Thank you for taking and sending the photo.  It's great!  I just wish we'd thought to take one with you in it, too.  Next year, I hope.

What a nice memento of a wonderful week.  We loved our chats with you on the porch, Peggy Ann.

You are a terrific hostess and we all had such a pleasant, comfortable visit.  Sure do love Ocean City and the memories it holds for all of us.  Look forward to being with you again next year.  We love our family reunions reminding us of the many years we spent together as children.  (I'm glad Anne finally made it this year.)

OUR OSBORNE GETAWAY

Last month I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Ocean City, NJ, at Osborne's Inn.  I've been there many times before, usually in the Fall with my high school sorority month I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Ocean City, NJ at Osborne's Inn.  I've been there many times before, usually in the Fall with my high school sorority (Cardinal Dougherty - class of 1960) and have always had a really good time.

This visit was no exception.  It was different though and very special because I was with my son, Tony, and my Graddaughter, Sophie, and it was the summer.  Our trip was kind of spur of the moment.  Even so, Peg was able to sqeeze us in and a good time was had by all.

Peggy Ann and Frank Osborne are without a doubt two of the kindest and nicest people I've ever known and I'm proud to call them friends. After spending a few days in their company, Tony and Sophie now understand why I think so highly of the Osbornes.

Join us in Spirit as we celebrate Year #41.  We've just entertained all of our grandchildren (15) and many of their parents for a week in August. Fortunately we have enough seats for all.

Finding a Treasure in Ocean City

Three years  ago (2011) we were searching on the net for a place to stay in O.C. in mid-August for just a couple of nights. Treasures require patient searching. Having spent hours viewing and reviewing photos and comments by customers who had stayed at various rental facilities we came across Osborne's Fairview Inn. We spoke to one of the owners, Peggy Ann, who told us there was a cancellation and that we could stay in one of the apartments. What was so inviting was not just the location of Osborne's Inn, which is very close to the boardwalk and beach, but more important was the hospitality and warmth of the owners,  Peggy Ann and Frank Osborne. Truly these people make everyone feel at home and because of them this vacation spot has become a home away from home. We just returned from a two 2 week vacation at the Osborne Inn. We met more people on their large front porch in two weeks than we have met in two years.  Osborne's Fairview Inn is a Treasure Box of friendliness with a short walk to the beach, a few bike pedals to the boards, and a very enthusiastic owner who welcomes each customer as if they were a member of their own family.

Wonderful Memories to Recall of Ocean City, NJ

My sister and I have been returning to Ocean City year after year, reminding us of the fun family times we spent at OC as children.  The Merry Go Round ride hoping for the Gold Ring at Gillian's, eating Mack and Manco pizza at lunchtime on the beach or hot dogs.  Skee ball, mini golf, rashers of bacon at Watson's, jumping the waves with our Dad, learning to body surf, watching them make salt water taffy at Shriver's and fudge at Copper Kettle are just some of our memories.  How very luck we were to be able to spend one week each and every summer!

OC will always be our favorite place.

Thank you Peggy Ann for the wonderful hospitality.  You are such a warm and gracious person. We love Ocean City so much and are so happy to have found a place that we can come back to year after year to continue building our Memories.  We only regret that we have just found your lovely home three years ago and not sooner.

Have a great rest of your season and hope it is enjoyable, warm and sunny.  Looking forward to seeing you in the Summer of 2015.

Fondly,

Karen Lewandowski and Debbie Bishop

Our first year, in 2013, we had unusually cold July weather.  We spent our three days in blankets, drinking hot chocolate.  But Peggy Ann and Frank's warm hospitality made our time delightful!  This year, 2014, the weather was perfect and the hospitality still delightful.  It seems the Osborne's has become our new tradition.  Thanks for a wonderful time!

Smiles!

A huge part of my heart will always belong in Ocean City.  That space got a little more crowded last year when I stayed with the Osborne's.  It took a few days for me to realize that until I stopped clutching my memories so tightly, I couldn't make new ones....and what memories they are..boat rides, long walks on the shore, but most of all I cherish evening on their magical porch..What?  You don't believe in in the magical properties of a porch?  You just haven't been to the Osborne Inn.  It feels like going home.
