427 Central Avenue - August 6, 2013 - Our family enjoyed staying at Osborne's 427 condo.  All the conveniences of home and more.  Grandmom, Grandchildren, Mom and Dad all had a wonderful time.  Glad we were one of the first to utilize your great accommodations here on the North end of Ocean City.

Just Charming!

June 16, 2002:  Today we just got here and we walked into the Osborne house.  The greeting was so nice.  We are so excited to arrive.  Our first night was great.  We had a super foom, Room 1.  We love it - it has an ocean view and you can really see the ocean.  Everything is just charming.  It's been a romantic experience.   Talking walks on the beach hand in hand or going to different restaurants, experiencing new people, that is what we like to do on vacation.  Ocean City, NJ, is a grea place, everything at your finger tips.  We love it and know that we have a place to come back to year after year.

September, 1928 started it all!

August 23, 2013:  In September, 1928, Mr. & Mrs. Kaighn of Philadelphia met on the Ocean City boardwalk.  They carved their initials in the 20th Street Pavilion, married in 1932 and continued to vacation here until the 1990's.  Their daughter, Lili, met her husband Frank Remmey here in 1960 and soon married thereafter, having four sons who enjoy the family atmosphere of Ocean City.  Two of their sons, Brian and Paul, worked at Horsey's Restaurant.  Lili's husband, Frank, worked on the boardwalk at a french fry stand for ten years.  All of the Remmey family (nine grandchildren) love to spend summertime at the shore, especially with fond memories of Ocean City.  There is acommemorative bench on the 20th Street boardwalk to honor this memory.  God bless the Osborne Family for their forty years of family residence at the Osborne's Inn.

Congratulations on THIRTY years of service!

September 22, 2003:  We started coming here eight or nine years ago for weekends and graduated to a week plus weekends.  One year Clarence spent most of his time on the  front porch studying for a test and talking to everyone.  Since coming here, I have even got him to spend a little time with me on the beach.  He is not a beach person.  I am.  We were lucky enough to be here when Colleen got married and see all the 'goings on'.  We will never forget where we were on September 11, 2001.  We were here, as stunned as everyone.  This year we had Isabelle, a hurricane.  Fortunately she did not do much damage to Ocean City as she did to other areas.  We always have a good time when we are here and love hearing about the children and grandchildren. Your hospitality has always been 'above and beyond'.  Congratulations on your 30th year of service.

Walking the Quiet Streets of Ocean City!

July 11, 2004:  I have been coming to Ocean City since I was thirteen years old, except for about four years in that time frame.  I am now in my late thirties.  In 1992 I introduced my now husband of seven wonderful years to my favorite town of Ocean City.  We have often thought of trying other beach towns but why would we do that?  Ocean City has become our beach resort - 'home away from home'.  Even though we only get here once or twice a year, we just cannot imagine a year withour our oasis.  A couple of years ago as we were walking the quiet streets of Ocean City, we came across a wonderful family run apartment house, the Osborne's Inn.  Harry and I have stayed here with the Osbornes for at least four years and we love them dearly.  We could not ask for better people to open their home for a period of time so that we can enjoy our 'home' here in Ocean City. Hopefully we will have many more years of happy memories and the Osborne family.  God bless.

July 2, 2004:  I started coming to Ocean City in 1970 and we always had to turn down the alley at the side of the Fairview Inn.  I always noticed each year what additions had been made to your lovely Inn and always said that I wanted to stay there.  Each year it was as if seeing your Inn meant we finally made it to O.C.

In 1993, with a divorce behind me, Enzo and I had the pleasure of staying where I wanted to stay for such a long time - Osborne's Fairview Inn.  Every chance we could get away we went straight to your home.  Always, such a warm and friendly welcome.  Enzo loved Peggy Ann's coffee, as much as she loved his hair.

We probably stayed in every room and just fell in love with the Cottage the week we were down with Jennifer and Jessica.  In 2000 we purchased our own little place but it had to be close to Peggy Ann and Frank.  So we are only one block away.  We found a bottle of Osborne's Wine which we had to purchase.  When I think of Peggy Ann and Frank, I think of Family and how we are part of their wonderful extended family.  We remember no grandchildren and now there are eight under the age of four.

May you have thirty more years at your wonderful Inn.  We love and pray for you all and am so thankful that we have such wonderful friends in our lives.  God bless!

Joan, Enzo, Jennifer and Jessica
