We have become 'Best Friends'!

We just finished a good conversation with Peg on the porch.  Life is what you make it.  Enjoy and 'Welcome to Osborne's Inn'! Ahh, Vacation is Osborne`s Inn.  Whether in the Cottage or at the house, it is great.  On the big porch to read or chat...  At the nearby beach for sand, ocean, sunning or walking.  Or the boardwalk for shopping, walking, Manco n Manco pizza, to Route 9 for antique shopping or Cape May.

Dealing with the Osborne's - comfortable thoughtful and kind people, BUT the GREATEST of all is spending quality time with my sister Beth.  We have become such good friends.

My main mission as an advisor is to get business sense instilled into everyone. The first lesson should be the 'Osborne's Inn' with its perfect mix of personal and business service.  Our mission as Jim and Karen Russell from Yardley, PA, is to achieve Total Relaxation and we always make our goal at 15th and Wesley. Thank you Peggy Ann and Frank.

Here I sit on Osborne's porch with 'LOVE' in the middle - Elizabeth Caroline Mook (aka Ellie) is always a very welcoming face to come to.  She makes us smile as she loves and smiles and claps her hands.  We thank God for giving us so many gifts when we come to Ocean City and the Osbornes.

Relaxation at its best!

We always enjoy coming to Ocean City and really relaxing.  It's a great change from our normal pace.  Sure do love the shore and the memories that it is giving to us.

My friends and I had a lot of fun.  Here's a picture of us at the kitchen table.  We did so many things.

The Osborne Inn has truly a home away from home atmosphere. A place where you are at ease from the moment you step onto the shaded porch where one is greeted by Peggy Ann or Frank, usually with a warm hug. The inside gets even more cozy, like being in one's own living room. This is social networking in the purest form, leave the smart phones, video games at home because you don't want to miss the conversations and sweet sounds that take over your now relaxed being.

Ocean City, NJ Revisited

My last vacation week in OC,, NJ, was in July of 1977. We (Janet, now deceased and I) stayed at 28th and Asbury.  Through the years, we (Janet, and in 2003 my wife Elaine) have vacationed in Virginia Beach, Va, North Carolina, Outer Banks, Flordia and Wildwood.

Elaine and I attended the Cardinal Dougherty HS general reunion July 20, 2013 in North Wildwood. The big treat was our four day stay at The Osborne's Inn in OC. We were greeted by our hosts Frank and Peggy Ann and enjoyed their warm hospitality on their spacious front porch. Our third floor room has a new deck overlooking the ocean. It was pleasant to rise early to the aroma of freshly brewed complementary coffee. Only one short block to the beach and boardwalk. We were able to take our bikes to a close by market, and St. Augustine Church for Sunday Mass. We were blessed to have had a Dominican Order visiting Bishop from the Solomon Islands say the Mass and receive his personal blessing. The four night 'forty year bonus special', was a treat instead of a treatment! Looking forward to a return stay.

It was great to be back sitting on the Osborne's porch.  We started coming here way back in the 1970's.   We love the shore so much that we bought our very own home in Cape May.  I was driving through O.C. on business and felt compelled to stop.  Love the Osbornes!

I live by the beach in North Jersey but there is something about Ocean City that draws me close each year.  I need my Ocean City fix and this is where I come.
