My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. I had wanted to go back to Ocean City as I hadn't been there for 20 years! I forgot how much I loved it there. Peggy Ann and Frank were very gracious. The room was nice and comfortable and the short walk to the beach made it even better. I can't wait to go back :)

Making a new Ocean City Memory

We have been vacationing in Ocean City for many years and love it!!! We needed to find a new place to stay and found the Osborne Inn on line. What luck!! Peggy Ann and Frank greeted us so graciously on arrival and we fell in love with their spacious PORCH! We felt right at home and loved meeting the extended family and chatting with the grandchildren. Everything was perfect about our stay and their home is warm and very clean. We will be back in the near future. Thank you Peggy Ann and Frank.🐚

We spent the weekend at the lovely Osborne's Inn (May 29-31, 2015) and had the most relaxing mini vacation! The Inn is immaculate and while having the charm of an older seashore home, the amenities are first rate. The decor is seashore themed and very quaint!

Staying at the Osborne's brought back many fond memorias as I spent my summers in OC as a child. Then when I met my husband in 1980, we continued vacationing in OC as a couple and then with our children. The Inn's atmosphere was reminscent of the grand old seashore homes from my past.

Peggy Ann and Frank are warm and inviting and make you feel like you are at your home away from home. Although we created many new memories this weekend at the Osborne's, the one that stands out the most was on Saturday night when returning 'home' after dinner. Peggy Ann and Frank greeted us as we entered their living room. They asked us about our night as if we were part of their family! They are genuine people and truly care about their guests. We are already planning our next visit this summer.

Not only are the Osborne's gracious hosts, but they are also very generous. Our weekend was a Fine Things Raffle prize to benefit the Alternative Spring Break for Gwynedd Mercy University! Peggy Ann is a GMercyU alum as am I (Joanne), so we also share our passion for our GMercyU!

Thank you again Peggy Ann and Frank for a memorable weekend in OC!

We had a mother-daughter weekend at the Osborne Inn!!! We will never forget our sister breaking out in a dance move in front of the Kongo Falls Golf Course!! The couple in front of us almost joined the dance party themselves!! We can't wait for our next stay at the Osborne Inn!!!  We LOVE it here!!!

It was wonderful seeing you after all these years.  Thank you for opening up your home and sharing it with me and my family.  It was a beautiful weekend and we loved spending it with you.  It's funny that after all this time, it seemed like no time has passed at all.  My husband and my children loved your home and enjoyed spending Memorial Day there with you and your family.

Thank you for all your hospitality.  When the opportunity presents itself, we would love to stay again.

Love,

Mary from The Chatterbox many years ago and Ray and Ally (18), Chris (15) and Tori (13)

I have been coming to Ocean City since I was eight years old. It truly is a “home away from home”. Now I come with my husband and our two daughters. We love staying at the Osborne’s, going to the beach, and walking on the boardwalk. We hate to leave, but look forward to many more vacations at the Osborne’s Inn!

We had a wonderful time and such nice weather. I always enjoy coming here to Osborne’s. I’ve come here for years with my daughter and grandchildren. Now since I got married 4 years ago, my husband and I come here and enjoy the place. It’s very convenient, so close to the beach and boardwalk. Thank you so much for your kindness

Sisters getaway!

It had been years since I was back in Ocean City after having spent fifteen summers here. It was like being home again. I brought my sister, Eleanor. She so much enjoyed our stay here, and we both plan to come back again. We enjoyed the view from room #2 and would want to stay in it again. The ocean early morning is so peaceful. You make people who stay here feel like family. We’ll see you again!

So many happy memories in Ocean City!

This is our 22nd year in Ocean City, but our first year at the Osborne’s! We have memories on every corner in this town! Since when is Watson’s a condo??!! Thank goodness Shafto’s still serves up good food! Remember the years during the beach reclamation project? You had to step over huge pipes to get on the beach. During those years, we found great clams in calf-deep water right on the beach. Mass at Saint Augustine’s is always special for us – the choir is wonderful! My husband and son enjoyed the baseball card shows at the Music Pier during the 80s. The MOST enjoyable part of Ocean City is the hospitable citizenry. We look forward to many more years in Ocean City – and many more memories!

Ocean City – treats within treats!

I remember a place in Ocean City where a sourball awaited you at the end of your ice cream cone. It was always so delightful to have that little extra treat to remember the ice cream cone by. Somehow that ice cream cone is symbolic of Ocean City for me – treats within treats, and memories to take home with you. One particular memory I have of Osborne’s is from the first year we stayed there, in Room #2 in 1999. It was our 25th wedding anniversary. My aunt and uncle had given us a silver pitcher when we went to visit with them at their place, two blocks up at 17th and Wesley. A few days later, as we headed for home, we realized we had left the pitcher in our room. When we got home, we called Peggy Ann, and she recovered it for us and gave it to my aunt and uncle, who then gave it to us again via the US Mail. It was so nice that Peggy Ann and my aunt got to meet and talk about Ocean City, as so many people who’ve ever stayed here love to do!
